It has been a while since I last updated my blog. I took a break after the launch of Nostalgic Rain: Galaxies Away, on June 27th. I knew this break wouldn’t take too long because almost a day or two after the launch, I began writing the next book in the series. As some of you may know, the first book took me more than five years to finish, so how long would the second one take? Way less than five years. I promise.
The ideas are ALL in my head. I know where the story is going. I know the fate of 95% of the characters. In fact, I knew how the whole story would end from the moment Leland’s legs touched the grounds of Oremanta. Maybe even before that. But the real challenge is in trying to put the pieces together. And that’s, apparently, isn’t an easy thing. Not for me at least.
But things are getting exciting, alliances are being made, friends are turning to foes and vice versa, and the King of all King’s ancient plan is no joke.
About the ending:
As I said earlier, the ending to Leland’s journey has been there in my head for a pretty long time. I’m excited to transform those bubbles of thoughts into written chapters. How will the story ends? I can’t say that now. But Nostalgic Rain will definitely have a bittersweet ending–the kind of ending that would make you happy and sad and everything all at once. I think i’ve said too much already.
One last thing: I want to keep the blog alive. I will post every now and then about the progress of the writing, some minor spoilers and some other insignificant updates.
See you next week.
